Do I need to live near a Kindbody clinic to become a gestational carrier?

No, you don’t need to live near a Kindbody location! Most of your surrogacy journey can be conveniently managed close to your home and family. With Kindbody locations across the country, you’ll have the flexibility to complete your medical screening at one of our clinics nearby.

Please note, however, that certain states are considered higher-risk for surrogacy, which may limit our recruitment in those areas.

How long does the surrogacy process take?

We ask that gestational carriers are ready to make a 15-18 month commitment with KindEOS. Surrogacy is a deeply rewarding journey that involves careful medical screening, a thoughtful matching process, and the pregnancy itself. Every journey is unique, so this timeframe may vary slightly based on individual circumstances.

Why are there specific requirements to become a gestational carrier?

At KindEOS, we’re committed to promoting a safe, positive experience for you, your family, and the intended parents. That’s why we follow the guidelines set by the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and our trusted fertility center partners. In fact, we go above and beyond these guidelines to provide the highest level of care and support throughout every step of your journey.

Do I need to have insurance to become a gestational carrier?

To become a gestational carrier, it’s important to have medical insurance that can be obtained through either your employer, your significant other's employer, or an ACA policy. If you’re not currently insured, we are happy to consider you and guide you on how to start the process.

How will I be matched with intended parents?

At KindEOS, we understand that finding the right match is essential for a positive surrogacy journey. Our Mindful Matching process is designed to create connections between surrogates and intended parents. We take the time to understand your preferences and expectations, ensuring you feel supported throughout the process.

Your journey begins with sharing your preferences during the screening process, which helps us identify intended parents who align with you. Once we find a match, we exchange biographical details to explore mutual interest. You’ll then meet with the intended parents in a facilitated session led by an independent licensed mental health professional, where you’ll discuss important topics such as communication styles and surrogacy expectations. After this meeting, both you and the intended parents can decide if you’re ready to move forward together.

What makes our approach even more special is our affiliation with Kindbody clinics nationwide. This connection allows us to streamline your journey to medical screening, making the process smoother and more coordinated after you and the intended parents decide to proceed. KindEOS is here to make your first match the best match!

How can I streamline the screening process?

At KindEOS, we’re dedicated to ensuring you have all the tools you need for a rewarding journey! With our partnership with Kindbody, we can efficiently move through the screening, matching, and medical evaluation appointments, helping you get started sooner.

If you're ready to take the next steps, here’s how you can streamline your experience:

  1. Complete Your Application Promptly: Fill out your application fully and submit it as soon as possible to keep everything on track.

  2. Schedule Your Call: Set up a call with a KindEOS to review your application and discuss what comes next. We're here to answer all your questions!

  3. Update Your Medical Information: Reach out to your OBGYN to schedule an updated physical exam and, if needed, an updated pap smear.

  4. Prepare Necessary Paperwork: Complete any required paperwork so we can obtain your medical records and confirm your blackout dates.

By following these steps, you’ll be well on your way to an efficient and fulfilling surrogacy journey with KindEOS! We’re excited to support you every step of the way and can’t wait to see the amazing impact you’ll make!
